Day 2: King's Palace Museum — Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking, Canopy Walk & Zipline Adventure

Begin with an early morning chimpanzee trekking experience in one of Africa's oldest and most biodiverse rainforests. Accompanied by expert guides, venture into the forest in search of habituated chimpanzees. After lunch, walk the famous Nyungwe Canopy Walkway — suspended high above the rainforest floor with breathtaking panoramic views. Follow with an exhilarating zipline adventure soaring above the treetops. Return to the lodge for a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Lake Kivu Boat Cruise — Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After breakfast, depart Nyungwe and journey toward the shores of magnificent Lake Kivu. Enjoy a scenic boat cruise on one of Africa's Great Lakes, surrounded by lush hills, fishing villages, and spectacular landscapes. Enjoy a leisurely lakeside lunch before continuing north along the Congo Nile region toward Volcanoes National Park. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon with views of the Virunga Mountains.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking & Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Visit

Today marks the highlight of your Rwanda safari. Following an early breakfast, transfer to park headquarters for a ranger briefing before setting off into the forests of the Virunga Mountains. Track one of the park's habituated mountain gorilla families with experienced guides. Once located, spend an unforgettable hour with these gentle giants. After lunch, visit the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund campus to learn about groundbreaking conservation work protecting mountain gorillas.
