Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda's most visited park and one of Africa's most ecologically diverse safari destinations. A mosaic of savannah, crater lakes, wetlands, and tropical forest creates an incredibly varied environment that supports over 600 bird species and a remarkable range of mammals. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions in the Ishasha sector β a rare and captivating behaviour seen in very few places on Earth. The Kazinga Channel, connecting Lakes Edward and George, offers one of Africa's finest boat safari experiences, with extraordinary concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds along its banks.
